What am I not doing?

A lot! But, we’ll talk about it later…

When I moved back home to Amman in Feb 2014, I had a vision of what I wanted my “career” to look like in 5 years, and I had so many ideas of how to get there!

After taking a much needed sabbatical for a few months, I've laid down a plan of what I needed to do, and at a high level, it consisted of:

  1. Make @techcardo a reality
  2. Engage with the Amman startup community
  3. Write!
  4. Live!
  5. Exercise!

I basically wanted to have fun working, and doing startups is what I have fancied since 1998 when I wanted to get acquired by Yahoo! for $3M!

And as any smart founder would do, you’d periodically monitor your progress and pivot as needed.

To do that, I've assigned a monthly “What am I not doing?” time slot on the last Thursday of the month to review what I’m doing, and most importantly, what I’m not doing. Unfortunately, I've never sat down with myself for that review, it’s easy to dismiss notifications! And I guess that’s why I have 6 different alarms setup to wake me up in the morning!

So, I decided to use this month’s slot to write this. And for the internet, to hopefully make me stick to my me-vs-me monthly review and nudge me when I don’t!

A whole lot is going on, and a lot to look forward to, so 2015, you’ll be the year that a lot get done!
